このテストについて

このテストは8kHzから20kHzまでの高周波を聞く力を測定します。加齢とともに、内耳の有毛細胞の損傷により高い周波数は自然に聞こえなくなっていきます。

ほとんどの大人は15〜17kHzまで、子どもや10代は20kHzまで聞こえることが多いです。大音量の音楽や騒音は聴力低下を加速させます。
