¿Sin forma de onda?
Revisa el permiso del micro (icono en la barra de direcciones), luego el dispositivo de entrada predeterminado del sistema, y luego si otra app retiene el micro. En macOS y Windows, revisa también los ajustes de privacidad del sistema para el micrófono.
¿Hay onda pero muy baja?
Sube la ganancia de entrada en los ajustes de sonido y acércate al micro — el nivel cae rápido con la distancia. El medidor debe moverse con fuerza al hablar normal sin clavarse en rojo constantemente.
¿Pruebas también los altavoces?

¿Cómo sé si mi micro funciona?
Inicia la prueba y habla con normalidad. Un micrófono que funciona muestra una forma de onda en movimiento y un medidor que responde a tu voz — y el indicador se pone verde al detectar señal. Para confianza total, usa el botón de grabar: oír tu propio clip de cinco segundos demuestra que funciona toda la cadena.
¿Por qué mi micro no funciona en el navegador?
Por orden de probabilidad: (1) permiso denegado — haz clic en el icono de cámara/micro de la barra de direcciones y permite el acceso; (2) dispositivo de entrada equivocado — revisa la entrada predeterminada en los ajustes de sonido; (3) otra app tiene control exclusivo del micro; (4) los ajustes de privacidad del sistema bloquean el navegador (común en macOS y Windows — revisa Ajustes > Privacidad > Micrófono); (5) interruptor físico de silencio o cable desconectado.
¿Es privada esta prueba de micrófono?
Sí. El audio se analiza en local con la Web Audio API y nunca sale de tu dispositivo. La grabación con reproducción guarda el clip solo en memoria — se descarta al salir de la página y nunca se sube nada.
¿Por qué mi micro suena bajo?
Revisa primero la ganancia de entrada en los ajustes de sonido — suele venir baja por defecto. La distancia importa muchísimo: duplicar la distancia a tu boca reduce el nivel aproximadamente a la mitad. Los auriculares con micro y los micros externos suelen dar mucho más nivel que los integrados del portátil. Usa el medidor de aquí para comparar posiciones y ajustes, buscando movimiento fuerte sin saturar constantemente.
¿Por qué sueno distinto en la reproducción que en la vida real?
Dos razones: normalmente oyes tu propia voz en parte por conducción ósea, que añade frecuencias graves que nadie más oye — la grabación se acerca más a lo que oyen los demás. Y el procesado del navegador (cancelación de eco, supresión de ruido) más la calidad del micro moldean el sonido. Esta prueba desactiva el procesado del navegador para darte la señal cruda del micrófono.
